- Cross-Section研究:Participants (n = 34) performed an emotion processing fMRI task, including emotion labeling, emotion matching, and non-emotional control conditions.
- These results suggest that the at-risk syndrome is marked by abnormal development and functional connectivity of neural systems subserving emotion regulation.

- 41 cases meeting PACE criteria for the At Risk Mental State (ARMS) and 50 controls performed a duration-deviant MMN. The amplitude of the MMN wave was compared between groups using linear regression. The ARMS subjects were then followed for 2 years to determine their clinical outcome.
